The 1975 rock Tower with unique symphony
Indie-rockers The 1975 joined forced with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra for a truly one-off musical experience in the glorious surroundings of Blackpool's Tower Ballroom.
The Cheshire band’s performance - a one off ‘symphony’ to bring the Radio One Live Lounge month to a close - was broadcast around the world.
And lead singer Matthew Healy was clearly overwhelmed by the occasion, reduced to tears at one point, brought back from the brink by the sell out crowd.
