Actors’ university challenge city visit

The cast of comedy Fresh Meat are taking up a university challenge to raise money for Red Nose Day.

The stars of the Channel 4 show, about a group of students, will be travelling to universities including The University of Sheffield, today. Actors Jack Whitehall, Joe Thomas and Kimberley Nixon will be serving breakfast and even lecturing to raise money. Highlights from the challenge will be shown on BBC One on Red Nose Day - March 15.

Restaurant break-in

EVEREST Indian restaurant on Chesterfield Road, Woodseats, Sheffield, was burgled overnight on Saturday. Hours later police were called to Lupton Drive, Lowedges, after a garage was broken into. The day before a shed was broken into on Lowedges Road.
