A POULTON teenager is hoping to become a real star after making it through to the regional finals of a talent competition.
Natalya Stone, 14, was given a big thumbs up by judges at recent TeenStar auditions and will now be performing at the live stages.
TeenStar is a national talent competition, which searches for the UK’s best teens and pre-teens singers, singer/songwriters, rappers and vocalists of all genres who perform either covers or original material.
Natalya beat off competition from hundreds of other local hopefuls to impress the judges and win a spot in the regional final.
She will now be performing in front of hundreds of audience members and a professional judging panel, in Liverpool on Sunday, March 24, to win a place at the National Grand Final.
Natalya’s proud mum Sarah Jane, said: “I am so proud Natalya has got through to the next stage of the competition.
“She has a beautiful voice, very unique, and I’m keeping everything crossed the judges put her through even further.
“It would mean the world to her.
“She is a talented young lady, she loves music and also dances, ice skates and plays the piano.”
Natalya said: “I decided to enter this competition as it is brand new and just for teenagers like me.
“I hope they find me a bit different from the other singers and put me through. It’s great to represent Blackpool as well and it would be absolutely fantastic if anyone would like to come along and support me in Liverpool on March 24.”
The competition is divided into age categories; Late Teens (16-19), Mid Teens (13-15) and a special category searching for the stars of tomorrow – the Pre-Teens.
For the acts who make it through to the prestigious grand final at The O2, there will be chance to be signed, with the opportunity to impress guests from record labels, agencies and the entertainment industry.
