DRINKERS had chance to enjoy a taste of something new when they descended on the annual Beer and Cider Festival in Fleetwood.
Hundreds of people attended the three-day event in its 31st year at the port’s Marine Hall.
The festival, organised by Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre CAMRA (Campaign For Real Ale), saw 120 different flavours of drinks for people to try.
For those keen to test their taste buds on something really unusual, there were beverages such as chilli hot dog flavoured stout available.
Dark Star Imperial Stout boasted an eye-watering 10.5 per cent volume, while for those who prefer a smoother taste, Wolf Straw Dog described itself as ‘full of chocolate and liquorice flavours’.
Also on offer were world beers from the likes of America, Holland and Germany, as well as a selection of ciders.
This year’s event was sponsored by Lytham Brewery, Lancaster Brewery, Cross Bay Brewery and West Coast Building Supplies.
