THESE youngsters helped recreate a famous TV advert as a non-league football club awaits one of the biggest days in its history.
AFC Fylde fans Jack Eckman, 13 and Oliver French, 12, drink a pint of milk in homage to an advert mocking the club’s FA Cup rivals, Accrington Stanley.
The 80s advert showed a young Liverpudlian footballer who said his dad had told him if he didn’t drink milk he would only be good enough to play for Stanley, which at the time helped put the east Lancashire club on the map.
Evostik Premier side AFC Fylde are hoping for a record attendance at their Kellamergh Park ground for tomorrow’s clash, the first time ever they have been in the FA Cup 1st Round proper.
Last night the club announced fans can pay on the gate tomorrow.
