Ryan Gumley, maths co-ordinator at Kincraig Primary, said: “It was an opportunity for the gifted and talented mathematicians from the schools to get together and work on some maths puzzles.

“There were 24 children taking part as well as 10 childrem from Kincraig who organised the challenges.

“It was fab and the feedback we have got from the children and all the members of staff have been very positive.

“We would most definitely consider doing it again in the future and we’re thinking about doing something for the Key Stage One pupils.”
