A TEENAGE actress has put her talents to good use in a cancer charity’s new television advert.
Daisy Lee-Hardman, 13, is one of a cast of characters in Marie Curie Cancer Care’s latest advert, which shows how cancer can affect people at any age.
The Baines High School pupil landed the role from her first professional audition after working with Scream Management.
She said: “I’m really excited to see it on TV and it’s good it’s for charity, it’s a really good feeling.
“I hope it’ll raise money and awareness for them.”
Mum Dina, of Catterall Close, South Shore, said she’s immensely proud of Daisy.
She said: “I’m very proud of her, especially that it’s for Marie Curie and contributing to other people’s lives.”
The advert will air on television from February 26.
