A man wanted by police investigating a £10,000 pub raid is believed to be in Blackpool.

Detectives in Hampshire, where the theft took place, say they believe Tony Beck has travelled to the resort.

We have reason to believe he may have travelled to the Blackpool area.

The 65-year-old is wanted on suspicion of theft after cash and stock worth £10,000 was stolen from the White Horse pub in Alton, Hampshire, between April 1 and July 15.

Det Con Mark Ogburn, of Hampshire Police, said: “We have been carrying out several lines of enquiry to find Tony, but are appealing for the public’s help in locating him.

“We have reason to believe he may have travelled to the Blackpool area.

“If you see him or know where he is, please contact police as soon as possible.”
