A flat tenant shouted a threat through another tenant’s door saying he was going to stab people.
Aaron Hayden, 35, of Park Road, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to breaching the peace and was bound over in the sum of £50 for 12 months by District Judge Margaret McCormack sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, said a tenant from the same block of flats as Hayden contacted the police saying he was having problems with the defendant who was being drunk and aggressive on June 30 at 11.30pm.
Officers arrived to heard Hayden shouting obscenities at the other tenant.
Hayden calmed down and returned to his own flat, but then came out again and shouted through the other tenant’s door “I’ll stab them,”
Hayden told the judge: “I had an argument with my wife, started drinking and began acting immaturely. I suffer from depression. I’m sorry for what I did.”
