A man who stole £356 worth of alcohol in raids on Sainsburys has been banned from all the company’s stores by magistrates.
Andrew Burns, a 36-year-old builder, of Redcar Road, North Shore, pleaded guilty to three offences of theft before a magistrates’ court.
He was bailed for pre-sentence reports and will now be sentenced at a later date by the court in Blackpool.
Martine Connah, prosecuting, said Burns stole bottles of whisky, gin and bourbon from Sainsburys, Blackpool, on separate raids on the store on June 8, 9 and 15.
Alan Godwin, defending, said his client had been involved in drugs but was now addressing this problem.
