A man betrayed a woman who let him stay at her home by stealing money from her.
Gary Fisher breached her trust after meeting her at a centre in Blackpool for people with mental health issues.
Fisher, 30, of Carsluith Avenue, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to theft.
Andrew Robinson, prosecuting, said the woman, who had known Fisher eight years, had allowed him to stay at her address on January 30 because he had nowhere else to go. Later she found Fisher had gone and £30 was missing from her purse.
Gerry Coyle, defending, said Fisher had bi-polar and schizophrenia and spent the money on drugs; he felt bad and was now drug free. Fisher was bailed for pre-sentence reports by magistrates.
