A man has admitted downloading pictures from a child sex website.

Aaron Blake, 58, from Crofts Close, Kirkham, was told he could face jail by District Judge Jeff Brailsford, sitting at Blackpool Magistrates.

The judge heard how former homelessness worker Blake had a previous conviction for a similar matter.

Martin Connah, prosecuting, said police officers regularly monitored a website catering for those with a sexual interest in young boys.

Blake had given the site his e-mail address which was then traced to his home by the police.

They searched his house and found his computer, which was seized and examined by a specialist hi-tech officer.

Mr Connah said there were indecent images of young boys and a girl on the machine.

Blake admitted six charges of possessing the images, which totalled 25, the prosecution said.

When Blake was interviewed he admitted having an interest in naturism.

He admitted visiting the website, but claimed it was a long time ago.

The prosecutor said when Blake is sentenced, they would be seeking to make him the subject of a Sexual Offences Prevention Order.

Malcolm Cartwright, defending, said his client would need to have pre-sentence reports compiled on him by probation officers.

The judge bailed Blake pending the reports being prepared and told the defendant sentencing options would include prison.

Blake was bailed on condition he has no unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 16.
