A LEISURE centre worker pushed a man and then punched him in the mouth, a court was told.
Dean Ford, 20, of Sunnybank, Kirkham, pleaded guilty to assault when he appeared at Blackpool Magistrates Court.
The court was told that on September 2, at about 6pm, a group of young people were drinking in a farmer’s field near Kirham railway station.
There was an argument over some people’s behaviour and Ford pushed the victim in the chest before punching him in the mouth.
Tony Slater, defending, said the victim had been the prime mover in the incident because he had been drunk and aggressive and made a nuisance of himself by pushing into other people.
Ford was fined £100 with £85 costs and ordered to pay the £15 victims’ surcharge.
