ONE of clubland’s current hottest properties is back in Blackpool tonight at The Syndicate.

A week before the release of his Cream Ibiza Super You & Me album, Blackpool’s biggest nightclub teams up with Manchester’s sexiest club night Bitch to present Laidback Luke, one of the top properties in electronic dance right now.

Blasting the bass bins with blockbuster beats and making heads spin with hybrid house is his trademark, making him the polar opposite of his name.

With his performances and productions currently captivating the scene like nobody else, Luke and his fusion of hyper drive house step and ghetto jack trance bass have catapulted him to new heights over the last couple of years.

With his recent global remixes for high flyers such as Wynter Gordon, as well as Ferry Corsten, Calvin Harris and Moby, and his own projects, like ‘Till Tonight’ featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn, and Turbulence by Luke and Steve Aoki featuring Lil Jon, Luke has well and truly made his mark in the scene as one of the extreme elite.

Joining the Dutch dynamo is Mixmag and Blackberry DJ 2011’ – D.O.D.

His meteoric rise over the last six months has seen him touring the UK and Europe and supporting some of the biggest DJs in the industry, as well as bookings for superclubs Cream, Gatecrasher, Ministry of Sound, Ibiza Rocks and Reclaim the Dancefloor.

With a host of festival and Ibiza dates planned, as well as his debut EP for release on New State Music, D.O.D is a name that’s going to be on everyone’s lips this summer.

D.O.D has also just recently had his remix of Laidback Luke’s Turbulence signed to Luke’s own Mixmash Records.

Further support comes from Toolroom Records producer Matt Everson, Bitch and Syndicate Resident DJs in the Main Arena, and a whole host of future star North West DJs in The Hub.

The Syndicate’s Nick Coulson said: “The hype behind the much anticipated return of Luke is excellent. Everyone is talking about it and it’s great that our town can still attract some of the world’s biggest talent.

“The Syndicate and our co-promoters have pulled out all the stops to ensure we host the greatest party in the North this Friday night, and deliver a spectacular show – our guests will not be disappointed.”
