Yobs attack railway staff

THUGS attacked a train driver and conductor after Lytham Club Day.

Three men attacked the conductor, pushing him and trying to punch him, after becoming abusive when they realised they had got on the wrong train at Lytham on Saturday.

The men left the train – the 8pm Lytham to Preston service at Moss Side and kicked the carriages as it pulled away from the station.

In a separate incident involving the same train, the driver was slapped in the face by a man on the platform of Lytham station.
