AN ELDERLY woman has been taken to hospital after she was knocked over by a taxi.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the junction of Whitegate Drive and Forest Gate, Blackpool, at 9.30 this morning.
The road was blocked for an hour by the emergency services as the woman received treatment at the scene before being rushed to Blackpool Victoria Hospital.
