Staff in the office of Tangerine Confectionery, based in Marton, held Wig Wednesday to raise money for children and young people with cancer.

The fun day, which saw them don wacky wigs, was organised by Karen Firth, from the credit control department, and saw more than £100 raised for charity CLIC Sargent.

Dawn Keeling, purchase ledger manager, said: “It’s a great charity. We had a lot of fun wearing the wigs and some of the less hirsute guys got pretty attached to them and didn’t want to take them off!”
