Hundreds of people attended the event at Bispham Community Centre organised by the Cultural Association of Malayalees.
Called Onam, the festival used music, dance and food to honour the traditions of Kerala in southern India.
Guests included Blackpool Mayor Coun Eddie Collett.
Association secretary Jayan Ambali said: “The people of Kerala celebrate this Onam as the festival of prosperity, and wealth. People decorate their houses with flowers and have get-togethers to celebrate this wonderful festival.
“The Cultural Association of Malayalees in Blackpool brought all the memories back by demonstrating the unity, integrity and through cultural and traditional programs.
“It was a great success and everyone enjoyed it.”
