Tools and bikes worth £250 stolen

THIEVES removed a rear garden gate in Thornton before making off with £250 worth of property.

The theft took place on Wembley Road on Saturday night.

Two children's bikes and gardening tools were taken from an unlocked shed.

One bike was a red and black mountain bike with 10 gears and the other was near adult size and was light green, also with 10 gears.
