A kaleidoscopic array of colourful plants and flowers have been planted in south Fylde towns for the summer.

More than 80,000 bedding plants and 460 floral containers have been added to parks and open spaces in St Annes, Lytham and Kirkham throughout the past month.

The project has taken place as part of a twice-yearly replant conducted by Fylde Council gardeners to keep open spaces looking fresh.
