Teen ordered no contact with parents

A TEENAGER has been ordered not to have any contact with his own parents.

Luke Evans, 19, is accused of assaulting his mother and damaging a computer monitor at his parents' home in an alleged incident on May 26.

He was granted bail by Blackpool magistrates on the condition he does not contact his parents David and Diane Evans or enter the street where they live, Convent Crescent on Grange Park.

He must also live at an address on Ashfield Road, Bispham, as a condition of his bail.

Magistrates adjourned his case until June 3.

Court appearance

A MAN was arrested by police when he refused to leave a house.

Blackpool magistrates heard Nicholas Collier, 42, of Powell Avenue, South Shore, was seen shouting and screaming.

He was told to move on by a police officer and did so but returned later and was arrested. He had been drinking.

The defendant admitted behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace in the street where he lived.

He was bound over for 12 months for the sum of 100 and told the court: "I am ashamed of my actions."

Bicycles stolen

TWO bicycles worth 300 were stolen from a shed in Newton.

The owners discovered the missing items at the weekend and told police they may have been taken between May 19 and 23.

It is thought the raiders climbed over the back fence and forced the door before taking a light coloured ladies bicycle and black GT mountain bike.

Hearing aids show

A HEARING Aid Exhibition will take place on Thursday, June 12.

The free event, which will include hearing aid tests, will be held at Thornton Little Theatre, at 9.30am.
