A MAN was tonight charged with murder following the death of a 41-year-old man in Blackpool.
Marc Davis, 41, died from multiple stab wounds in a flat on Alexandra Road, in South Shore, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police and paramedics raced to the scene, at around 2am, but Mr Davis - who is believed to have lived in Alexandra Road - was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mark Ball, 24, of Hornby Road, Blackpool, was tonight charged with murder.
He has been remanded into custody to appear before Blackpool Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
A 53-year-old woman from Blackpool, who had also been arrested on suspicion of murder, has been released on police bail until November 26.
A 22-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman have both been released without charge.
