Simon Cowell and co head to Blackpool

BLACKPOOL's got Britain's Got Talent – and you could watch auditions for the new series absolutely free.

The search is on for contestants to take part in Britain's Got Talent 2008 and the show's hosts and judges Simon Cowell, Ant and Dec, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan are heading to Blackpool this Sunday.

The show producers are looking for a live audition theatre audience to become the official "fourth judge" and help the official ones decide who should or who shouldn't go through to the next round of Britain's Got Talent 2008 – ITV1's massive hit talent show.

The show is holding auditions in six major centres all over Great Britain in January and February and for the first ever time auditions will be held in Blackpool for the show, boasting the largest "live" venue audience for the audition stages with a capacity of 3,000 per sitting.

Readers are being offered the first chance of taking up free tickets for the two live audition shows being held in Blackpool Opera House on Sunday, January 13 at 11.15am and 4.15pm (minimum audience age 15).

Britain's Got Talent has once again opened its doors to anyone of any age with absolutely any talent; from fire eaters to acrobats, dancers to divas, aerial performers to animal acts and you can expect to see a selection of them all live on stage at the auditions.

Blackpool is the second port of call following auditions in Glasgow, before heading to Manchester, Cardiff and Birmingham and eventually the final audition dates in London at the beginning of February.

All audience tickets for each show are free.

They can be reserved by going online to www.applausestore.com. Anyone can apply, the only restriction is a minimum age of 15 years and upwards.

The Audience Researchers will then call back people back and book them in to see the show. It is simple, free and a very entertaining day out.

For more information call (0871) 987 1234 (national rate number. Calls from a BT landline cost up to 8p per minute – some operators and

mobiles may vary). Phone calls may be recorded for training purposes. Office hours 10.30am-6pm Monday-Friday).

All talent has already been pre-selected for these public auditions so only audience tickets will be available.
