Recruit hope for RNLI

RNLI lifeboat

RNLI lifeboat

Lytham and St Annes Lifeboat crews are looking to recruit new trainees to join them on both the inshore and all-weather lifeboats.

Around 40 crew work at RNLI stations, but the charity is hoping to take on at least another six new volunteers.

Coxswain Martin Jaggs said crew members need to be aged over 17, fit and healthy, and live and work within five minutes’ travelling time of either the Lytham or St Annes boathouses.

If you would like to join the crew call Andrew Fallow on 07974 180926 or Martin Jaggs on (01253) 714900.
