Police appeal for missing Fleetwood man

Police are looking for a man who has been missing since Boxing Day.

Kenneth Lancaster, 55, was last seen leaving the Emergency Department at Blackpool Victoria Hospital just before 5am on December 26.

He had been taken there after falling ill.

Mr Lancaster, of Fleetwood, was captured on CCTV walking along Whinney Heys Road to North Path Drive at around 12.45pm.

He was wearing blue denim jeans, a horizontally striped grey zip up hooded top and a waist length olive green jacket with white trainers. He was carrying a bright green hospital bin bag.

He is described as 5ft 10ins, medium build with ginger hair and unshaven and wearing glasses.

Sgt Dan Whitaker of Lancashire Police said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Kenneth’s welfare and I would appeal for anyone who may have seen him or knows where he may be to get in touch with us.

“I would also appeal directly to Kenneth himself to contact us if he sees this appeal to let us know he is safe.”
