Blackpool ice skater Dan Whiston, part owner, and Jennifer Ellison open the Subway

HE’S gone from Dancing on Ice – to a buttered slice!

Blackpool’s Dancing on Ice star Dan Whiston, and head coach on the ITV series Karen Barber, have gone into business and bought the franchise for a Subway shop in Fylde Road, Preston.

Dan – the only skater to have won the popular competition twice – and series skating partner Jennifer Ellison, performed the official duties to launch the store yesterday.
