Mother’s touching tribute to fire death children

Waiting for Video...

GRIEF was clearly etched on their faces as the devastated family of four siblings who perished in a fire at their home paid a final farewell to their “beautiful babies”.

Around 500 mourners filled St John’s Church on East Beach in Lytham this afternoon for the funerals of two-year-old Jordan, four-year-old twins Holly and Ella and 19-year-old Reece Smith.

Michelle Smith, the siblings’ mum, paid tribute to her children, describing them as her “heart, life, babies.”

The four children died from smoke inhalation following the fire in a bungalow on Lytham Road in Freckleton on January 7.

Police believe the blaze was started deliberately in a wardrobe in a bedroom where the younger children were sleeping.
