A MAN who killed a chef by a single punch in a Blackpool takeaway has been jailed for more than three years.
Allan Glenny, 24, of Clifton Avenue, Mereside, had previously appeared at Preston Crown Court and pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of 44-year-old Ricky Guest-Binns following an assault at the Chicken Express takeaway on Caunce Street.
He has today re-appeared before the court and been sentenced to three years and four months in prison.
Glenny was also given two months in prison for a second assault which happened on Milbourne Street shortly after the initial incident inside the takeaway.
Detectives launched an investigation after emergency services were called to an assault that had taken place at the Chicken Express takeaway on Caunce Street in the early hours of Saturday, May 5 which left Mr Ricky Guest-Binns unconscious.

Mr Guest-Binns, a chef at the Sands Venue, was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but sadly lost his fight for life a short time later.
