Kirkham and Wesham's Wembley return
WELCOME home heroes! The whole of Kirkham and Wesham came out for a triumphant open-top bus parade to welcome back their Wembley wonders.
Thousands of supporters, many clad in white and blue club shirts, gathered to cheer home the team who just 24 hours earlier lifted the FA Vase.

The lower league minnows, powered to victory by two late goals from supersub Matt Walwyn, saw off Lowestoft 2-1 in the biggest game of their lives.

And they were rewarded last night as chants of "We Are The Champions" filled the air as fans packed the streets.

Team captain Dougie Shaw said: "To all the people that have turned out, I want them to know this isn't for us, this is for you."
