Is this Lady Gaga in a Blackpool pub?

NO you have not gone ga-ga – this really is the world's most talked about pop star eating fish and chips in a Blackpool pub.

Regulars were astonished to see America's outrageous princess of pop, Lady Gaga, in the lounge at the Devonshire Arms.

The shock visit came on Friday as stars arrived in the resort ahead of tonight's show.

Devonshire manager David Haberlin said: "She came in about 7.15pm. She just wanted to have a traditional British meal and she had our fish and chips.

"Then she was happy to sign a few autographs and have her picture taken.

"Afterwards she said she had enjoyed herself and said thanks for the meal. She was very polite and well-mannered. She's certainly the biggest star we have ever had in here."

Lucky shoppers in Blackpool town centre caught a glimpse of stars Alexandra Burke, Lulu, Diversity and Paddy McGuinness as they left rehearsals at the Winter Gardens.

Teen singing sensation Miley Cyrus arrived at the Hilton Hotel on Blackpool Promenade by helicopter yesterday.

Windswept and wearing a leopard-print coat she was beaming as she walked in.

Howard Lewis, manager of the Hilton, said: "Our hotel is full, with a number of celebrities here."
