Hunt for Blackpool sex attacker

THIS is the face of a sex fiend police are desperate to catch after he attacked a woman and terrorised three young schoolgirls in Blackpool.

The worrying incidents happened just minutes apart on Central Drive.

Police say the attacker lunged and grabbed a 27-year-old woman as she waited at a bus stop.

Then, just minutes later, the same man chased three girls, two aged 12 and one aged 13.

The girls, who were all wearing school uniform, managed to run to safety.

Police and local residents are keen to catch the attacker

before he has chance to strike again.

Officers today released a computer-generated EvoFit image of the pervert, who is thought to be in his 30s, after a series of interviews with the adult victim.

Police are also warning youngsters to be on their guard and have visited local schools to carry out stranger awareness lessons as local councillors reported concern among parents.

Coun Mary Smith, a Bloomfield ward councillor, said: "Obviously people are concerned.

"It's important this man is caught because if he isn't, who knows what could happen.

"He may grow more confident and other people or youngsters could be put at risk."
