Hotel's charity plea to guests
SMALL change can make a big difference at Hilton Blackpool this winter.
The Hilton in the Community Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the hotel chain, is launching a Europe-wide campaign to help disabled children.
The campaign, Small Change Big Difference, will be running in Blackpool throughout October, November and December this year.
It invites Hilton guests to add an optional 1 on to their room bill during their stay.
Money raised in the UK and Ireland will be ring- fenced for charities working on the Fylde coast and every penny raised will be distributed in grants providing, among other things, specialist educational and sporting equipment, care facilities, training and activity based learning.
Success
Simon Vincent, president of Hilton Europe, said: "This is a very exciting campaign and one I hope our generous guests in Blackpool will support once again.
"By choosing to add an optional 1 we can help the Hilton Foundation to make a huge difference to children in need. Working together your small change really can add up to make a huge difference."
Last year's campaign was a huge success raising 120,000 for Save the Children and Barretstown.
Small Change Big Difference has now raised over 825,000 for charities since 2004.
