Girl, 13, injured in tram crash
A SCHOOLGIRL had a narrow escape when she was struck by a tram on Blackpool Promenade.
The 13-year-old stepped into the path of the southbound tram close to Blackpool Tower at 10.40am yesterday.
She suffered minor cuts and bruises and was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital for treatment.
