A DEFIANT teen voter says he has "no regrets" about breaking the law at the ballot box.
Alfie McKenzie managed to cast his vote before getting caught leaving the polling station at St Aidan's Technology in Preesall – his own school.
The 14-year-old, who says he has a "avid interest in politics", applied for a polling card online at the Direct Gov website.
He was spotted leaving the polling station by a volunteer manning the desk and his vote was stopped before it was counted.
The matter is now being investigated by police and Wyre Council chiefs.
Alfie, from Blackpool Road in Carleton, said: "I really didn't think I would get away with it but I have no regrets."
Police have already launched a probe into how the youngster was able to vote and now council chiefs have stepped in to determine how it took place.
