Fylde star achieves ballroom dream

FYLDE star Craig Kelly will achieve his dream and dance in the Blackpool Tower ballroom.

The St Annes actor, who is celebrating his birthday today, has been voted through to the next round of Strictly Come Dancing.

The 39-year-old reached his highest score of the series with 24 points for his waltz and will now be performing in front of a home crowd next weekend.

Former Coronation Sreet star Craig said: "What better present to myself than to nail this waltz and to get to Blackpool."

Craig received his most positive comments yet from the judges.

Former winner Alesha Dixon said: "Finally I have seen something I like. I couldn't help smiling."

And Craig Revel Horwood added: "I certainly think it was leaps and bounds ahead of what I have seen but it still needs a lot of work."

Craig will now perform into Tower Ballroom next Saturday.

Zoe Lucker was the latest celebrity to be voted off the show.
