Councillor in bid to tackle vandals

A WESHAM councillor is calling for action to be taken against local vandals.

Residents have endured recent anti social behaviour on the St. George's housing estate, near Wesham, during the last couple of months.

The nuisance includes bricks through car windows, for sale signs being moved about and hanging baskets hung from exhaust pipes.

Council Simon Renwick is demanding for action to be taken to stop the yobs.

He said: "I've been contacted by several residents who just don't think the problem is being taken seriously by the police.

"I really do hope that the police can take some action and cut down on this behaviour.

"I'll be on their case and will continue to stick up for the residents of St Georges and any other estate that suffers from any form of anti social nuisance."
