Coronation Street stars in Blackpool - pictures

Blackpool Opera House hoasted the 'Gala Night of Stars' presented by Duggie Chapman on Sunday.

Stars of Coronation Street and Emmerdale were joined by a star studded line up of The Bachelors, Johnny More and Joan Hinde plus comedians Freddie 'Parrot Face' Davies, Norman Collier, Wyn Calvin, Stan Stennett, The Grumbleweeds and Bernie Clifton.

Roy Hudd will also made his first appearance in Blackpool after 50 years in showbusiness!

From Coronation Street 'Ken Barlow ' Bill Roache, 'Fizz' Jennie McAlpine, 'Norris' Malcolm Hebden. Bill Tarmey 'Jack Duckworth' and Emmerdale star Kelsey Beth who plays 'Scarlett' all took to the stage.

The show was on behalf of the fraternity and charitable organisation, the Grand Order of Water Rats which over the years has helped thousands of individuals and organisations.

Its' members range from film stars to Punch and Judy Men, pop stars to sporting heroes, comics to dramatic actors, musicians to television presenters, magicians to photographers and radiostars to royalty.
