Blackpool to feature on top tv show
BLACKPOOL will be broadcast to millions this weekend when the town is featured on the hit show Top Gear.
Presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and the Stig raced from the heart of Switzerland to Blackpool on just one tank of petrol.
The team were then invited to switch on the lights - and the Stig stunned the 20,000 crowd when he powered-up the illuminations.
Top Gear's anonymous 'tame racing driver' surprised everyone when he stepped in front of presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond to pull the famous lever and create a kaleidoscope of colour along the Golden Mile.
All that programme makers would reveal about who won the race was that James May came last.
The programme will be aired on BBC Two at 8pm tomorrow (Sun).
