Blackpool bank raid: Moment of terror
THIS is the terrifying moment a gun-toting robber attacked a security guard and stole thousands of pounds from a Blackpool bank.
Police today released shocking new CCTV images along with a picture (right) of the thief suspected of carrying out the robbery at the Royal Bank of Scotland.
Officers are keen to trace Russell Grant who is believed to have carried out a string of other violent robberies and is wanted by a number of police forces across the country.
He is the son of notorious armed robber John McVicar – a former public enemy number one who reformed his life and is now a respected journalist.

Grant, 43, was jailed in 1998 for stealing Picasso's Tte de Femme painting – worth 650,000 – at gunpoint from a London art gallery.
He is also wanted by police in Merseyside for a robbery at a Tesco store in which he is alleged to have threatened a security guard with a meat cleaver.
Det Insp Frank Walmsley, of Blackpool CID, said: "We are very keen to speak to this man and would urge anybody who may have seen him or know of his whereabouts to contact police immediately.
"He also uses aliases of Russell McVicar, Thomas Bird, Michael James Curtis and Peter Marsh.
"It is thought that this man could potentially be violent and dangerous.
"It is important that if anybody does recognise him, he is not to be approached and they should contact police immediately."
