Three sections of historic cobbled walls look set
receive special town hall protection.
Blackpool Council’s planning committee is being asked to add the structures on to the local listings for Waterloo ward.
The listing does not prevent redevelopment but must be considered when planning decisions are being made.
It is proposed to add cobbled walls on St James Road, Sackville Avenue and Lytham Road to the list.
The former were part of the late 18th century Springfield Farm estate, while the wall on Lytham Road is believed to have been associated with the former Stony Hill Farm.
It is also proposed to include 12 Third Avenue, which was part of the Springfield Farm estate, on the list.
