It was an evening of glitz and glamour as an award show to honour the best of the Fylde coast saw hundreds of people pack out the Winter Gardens.
The fifth Radio Wave Culture and Lifestyle Awards saw prizes handed out in 21 different categories.
Around 700 people turned up the event in the Empress Ballroom to see the results of the public vote.
And The Gazette was among the winners, scooping Best Website Award on the night.
Other winners at the ceremony included Fleetwood Town owner Andy Pilley, who was awarded Entrepreneur of the Year, Lytham Proms’ chiefs who collected the award for Best Event, Fredericks of Cleveleys, who won Best Independent Retailer Award, and Blackpool Zoo, which won the Kids’ Choice Award.
Radio Wave station director Paula Davies said the event, on Friday, was the biggest one to date.
She added: “It was a really good night. Everyone seemed to think it was an amazing event. I’m so very proud of all the Radio Wave team for putting on such an amazing event – it was the best one we have done so far.
“This event celebrates all that is good and great in the business world across the Fylde coast – and the event, along with this area, goes from strength to strength.
“There were some very worthy winners and runners-up, but all who were there on the night did exceptionally well, to get down to the last six for each category.”
Nominations opened in March, and judges were then asked to select six finalists in each category before it went to a public vote.
There was entertainment from four-piece boy band Oh What a Night, tribute act Be Loose Brothers and from the Viva Showgirls.
