HUNDREDS of dog walkers enjoyed a stroll in the sunshine to raise money for sick children.
The annual Bark in the Park took walkers and their pets around the De Vere Herons’ Reach Hotel’s scenic paths on Saturday morning, in aid of Brian House Children’s Hospice.
More than 250 dogs and their owners turned out in glorious sunshine, and raised thousands of pounds for the Bispham hospice in the process.
Julie Swift, events coordinator for Brian House, said: “We have had a fantastic turn-out, and the weather was beautiful.
“Every dog has been sponsored, so I hope we have got enough to equal last year’s total of £6,000.”
