LABOUR is bringing its regional conference to Blackpool for the second year running.
The party’s North West Regional Conference will be held next month in the recently refurbished Winter Gardens following on from last year’s event at the Imperial Hotel.
Last year Labour leader Ed Miliband was among the speakers, and four members of the shadow cabinet are already lined up to address this year’s delegates.
They include the party’s deputy leader Harriet Harman, shadow chancellor Ed Balls, shadow home secretary Yvette Cooper and shadow health secretary Andy Burnham.
The event is being held on Saturday September 8 and 9, with Labour’s regional youth conference also taking place at the Winter Gardens on the Saturday.
Speakers will focus on the party’s policies on young people, families, pensions and business.
