One Fylde coast hairdresser has come up with a novel way of supporting his favourite football manager – and The Gazette’s Hospice Heroes campaign.

Jon Barraclough, owner of Barber Barber, on Rossall Road, Cleveleys, is offering a half price haircut all week to anyone who turns up wearing one of the Paul Ince masks handed out at Bloomfield Road on Saturday.

The Gazette teamed up with Radio Wave to produce the masks to mark the absence of Guv’nor Paul Ince as he started a five match ban.

All we asked for were donations to be split between our Hospice Heroes campaign and Variety: A Children’s Charity.

Jon, who has owned Barber Barber for seven months, said he will ask customers for a donation to Hospice Heroes when they go in for a chop.

He said: “I just saw it on Twitter and thought it was a good way for us to get involved.”

Jon is also offering a free haircut to any linesmen and referees on Friday after a linesman was injured by a flare set off from the stands as Aston Villa took on Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Why not donate the money you’ve saved to our Hospice Heroes appeal?
