A barber’s body will be brought home from Thailand following the success of a fund-raising appeal.
Stephen Campbell’s family and friends announced on Facebook the body will be brought home from South East Asia after the 38-year-old, from Talbot Road, Layton, died from his injuries suffered in a jet ski incident on Wednesday.
Catherine Campbell-Ward, Mr Campbell’s sister, said: “We are very pleased to inform everybody who has supported us at this time that Stephen will be repatriated with us soon. “Without all of your support and advice we would never have got this far. “We are aware there are some events still planned and we will fully support these fabulous gestures towards the fund.”
