People are hoping to trace the family of a Blackpool ex-serviceman who died in Huntingdon.

The Huntingdonshire District Council has now appealed for his family to come forward.

Anthony was born on July 24, 1952, in Blackpool to Beryl Brownson, who later became Beryl Preston.

He enlisted with the Kings Division branch of the British army in 1969 as a medic.

He served with the Kings Regiment from 1972 until he was demobbed, and remained a member of the army reserve until 1995.

He served in Cyprus as part of the UN Peacekeeping Force.

Anthony is not thought to have any children, but is believed to have a younger sister named Karen.
