THREE men have been charged with drugs offences following raids across Preston and Blackpool.
Officers executed drugs warrants at properties on Kent Road and Sidney Avenue in Blackpool and Frenchwood Avenue, Preston.
Substances believed to be heroin and crack cocaine were seized during the raids.
Seven people were arrested and four have since been released on bail pending further investigations.
Shaka Watson, 18, of Ribble Road, Blackpool, was charged with offences relating to supplying heroin and crack cocaine; Dale O`Connor, 27, of Kent Road, Blackpool, was charged with supplying heroin and possessing heroin with intent to supply and Anthony Watkins, 24, of Frenchwood Avenue, Preston, was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and supplying crack cocaine.
All three appeared at Preston Magistrates’ Court and were remanded in custody until April 20.
DI Keith Lee, of Preston Police, said: “Drugs can blight our communities and I want residents to feel reassured that if they come to us with information or concerns we will listen and take action. Information from the public plays an important part in tackling drugs.”
