A new top boss has been appointed to the body which looks after mental health services on the Fylde coast.
Sue Moore has been named as the new chief operating officer at Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Her role will include leading the trust board and working to ensure services are delivered in line with national standards.
Lancashire Care Trust is behind a project to build a 154-bed inpatient unit – including a psychiatric intensive care unit – at the Whyndyke Farm site, in Blackpool.
Ms Moore started her NHS career as a radiographer and has worked in a number of leadership positions, most recently as managing director of Good Hope Hospital, in the West Midlands.
