Dog owners will be able to take their four-legged friends for a free health MOT at various venues across the Fylde coast.

The PDSA vet charity’s Pet Check vehicle will be visiting the area between July 8 and 11, as part of the organisation’s annual pet health tour.

PDSA vet nurse Louise Brown will examine the animals’ weight, body shape, teeth, eyes, coat and general fitness, as well as offering expert advice.

The roadshow will be at the following locations: July 8 – Revoe Learning Academy, Garstang Road, July 9 – PDSA PetAid Hospital, Hawes Side Lane, Marton, July 10 – St Cuthbert’s RC Primary School, Lightwood Avenue, July 11 – Blackpool Sports Centre car park, West Park Drive. For safety reasons only dogs can be brought along and must be kept on a lead.
