Our latest Hospice Heroes are the Cats with Red Shoes dance troupe, which are holding their annual showcase this year in aid of The Gazette’s charity appeal.
The group’s show is being staged at Viva, on Church Street, Blackpool, on March 8 and 9.
All proceeds will go to our Hospice Heroes campaign, supporting Trinity Hospice and Brian House children’s hospice.
The Cats with Red Shoes stage academy, based on Highfield Road, South Shore, has raised a total of £3,140 over the past seven years.
Principal Hayley-Anna Dancy said: “The Gazette’s Hospice Heroes campaign is a very worthy cause, and is one we are pleased to be supporting. Cats with Red Shoes prides itself on being one big happy family, and we hope all our friends and families will come to support us and help raise some money for charity.
“Without their support we would not be able to do what we are doing.”
The show, put on by children aged two to 18, will feature ballet, tap and musical theatre dancers, as well as award winning cheerleaders, gymnasts and freestyle disco performers.
It will include fast and thrilling numbers to well-known tunes and songs.
Tickets are £8.50 for adults and £6.50 for concessions.
Family tickets are also available.

The group would also like to hear from businesses which can offer raffle prizes.
